Executive Vice President & COO

As Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (COO), Tom leads an interdisciplinary team to develop new business opportunities in the region. Throughout his more than 23 years of service at Saint Vincent, Tom has held various roles, including senior vice president of professional and general services, vice president of Clinical Support Operations and Interim Executive Director of the Saint Vincent Medical Group, which is comprised of 15 primary care practices and ten specialty care practices. Tom previously held the position of Director of Operations and Chief Financial Officer at Union City Memorial Hospital, an affiliate of Saint Vincent, and was later named interim Chief Executive Officer there. He has also served as an interim Chief Executive Officer at The Regional Cancer Center, a free standing outpatient cancer center located in Erie, Pa.  

Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business degree in Public Administration from Gannon University.   He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American College of Health Care Executives.  Tom also serves on the Board of Directors for the Union City Community Foundation, the John Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation and as a liaison to the Board of The Regional Cancer Center.
