The Saint Vincent Heart and Vascular Center is one of the region’s leaders in clinical trials. With access to some of the latest and most advanced treatment programs available, patients are able to play a more active role in their own health care, gain access to new research treatments before they are widely available, and help others by contributing to medical research.

Both interventional and observational studies are available and there is a dedicated team to assist patients with any questions or concerns they may have about the trials. The Saint Vincent Heart and Vascular Center has been involved with many trials that have gone on to be approved by the FDA and are now common practice for heart and vascular surgery patients. With proven results, such as providing patients with decreased rates of future heart problems, patients are eager to explore these new and exciting opportunities.
