We have a cardiologist onsite 24/7, so that when patients having chest pain arrive in our Emergency Department, our Heart Stat team will be there waiting for them. We've lowered the amount of time it takes for a heart attack patient to get an EKG to eight minutes, two minutes faster than the national standard. And patients needing angioplasty are provided this life-saving service 16 minutes faster than the national standard.
